2026 Swing for a Cure

hosted by the 2026 NYC Light the Night Executive Committee

About Blood Cancer United

Blood Cancer United (formerly the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) was founded over 75 years ago to find a cure for leukemia following a family’s loss. Since then, it has evolved into a global powerhouse dedicated to curing blood cancer. Serving those affected by more than 100 types of blood cancers, the organization funds lifesaving research, provides free education and support services, and advocates for access to high quality, affordable care.

Light The Night, its signature inspirational community event, brings together patients, survivors, families, caregivers, and supporters to celebrate and honor those impacted by this terrible disease. With over 80 events nationwide, companies and individuals raise funds to support Blood Cancer United’s mission. As one of the few peer-to-peer events that occurs after dark, Participants carry illuminated lanterns representing hope, remembrance, and support; creating a powerful display of unity in the fight against blood cancer.

Your contributions will go directly to Blood Cancer United in support of Light the Night 2026.  From the entire 2026 Light the Night Executive Committee, thank you for your generous support.  See you on the links!
